Reporting to: Sales Manager
We are looking for a highly motivated and strategic Business Development Executive
(BDE) to fuel our growth by identifying new business opportunities and building a strong
pipeline of qualified leads. The BDE will be at the forefront of our expansion efforts,
responsible for market research, prospecting, and initiating the first contact with
potential high-value clients, including architects, interior designers, builders,
contractors, and potential dealers/distributors.
This role is crucial for our sales ecosystem, acting as the primary source of new
opportunities that will be nurtured by our field sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Proactively identify, target, and pursue new sales leads and business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Client Relationship Management: Build, nurture, and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, and channel partners (dealers/distributors).
- Sales Cycle Management: Manage the end-to-end sales process, including initial client meetings, site visits, product presentations, proposal submission, negotiation, and deal closure to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Technical Consultation: Develop a deep understanding of our product portfolio (stone types, finishes, applications, installation) to provide expert advice and technical specifications to clients.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new project pipelines. Provide feedback to the management team.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and sales pipeline in the company CRM. Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the Sales Manager.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the internal marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless order processing, timely delivery, and excellent customer service.
- Field Activity: Conduct regular field visits to client offices, active construction sites, and dealer showrooms to build rapport and identify immediate opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience
2–5 years of proven field sales experience, preferably in the building materials, construction, architectural products, or a related industry.
Mobility
Must own a two-wheeler/four-wheeler and possess a valid driver's license.
Skills:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.

- A strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Preferred
- Direct experience in selling natural stone, tiles, marble, granite, or similar high-end surface materials.
- An existing network of contacts among architects, interior designers, and builders in the target region.
- Experience using CRM software to manage sales pipelines.
